18:13. Check of working capacity and adjustment of the drive of the regulator of pressure of back brakes

The regulator of pressure of back brakes is efficient if when pressing a brake pedal on the standing car the piston starts from the regulator case, twisting a load spring.

For check of correctness of operation of the regulator of pressure we accelerate the car on the horizontal section of the flat dry highway to the speed of 50-60 km/h and we brake, sharply pressing a pedal, before blocking of wheels. At the same time back wheels have to be blocked a little later lobbies.

Adjustment of the drive of the regulator of pressure of back brakes is necessary also when weakening elements of its fastening, and also after any works connected with removal of a beam of the back bridge, replacement of springs and shock-absorbers of a back suspension bracket.

We carry out adjustment on a viewing ditch or the elevator.

Holding a key "on 11" an adjusting bolt, we weaken a lock-nut a key "on 17".

At earlier blocking of back wheels concerning lobbies we rotate an adjusting bolt counterclockwise, and at too late blocking — clockwise. We tighten a lock-nut, holding a bolt from a provorachivaniye. Again we check correctness of operation of the regulator of pressure.

We remove the faulty regulator (with the jammed or jamming piston) and we replace new.
