19:13. Cleaner and washer of a windshield

Screenwash of 2126-5205 type consists of a motor-reducer with levers and leads with brushes. The cleaner electric motor — 2-speed, three-brush, with excitement from permanent magnets. For protection against overloads in it the thermobimetallic safety lock of PR502A is established.

The cleaner has three operating modes which are switched on by the right polru-left switch. The faltering mode is provided to the electronic relays of 523.3747 type installed in the assembly block. The relay also includes the small speed of a motor-reducer of a cleaner at inclusion of a washer of a windshield. The relay has to provide turning on of the electric motor with a frequency of 14±4 cycles a minute with a frequency of rotation of a shaft of a motor-reducer not less than 20 min.-1, temperature of (20±5) °C and supply voltage of 14±0,2 Century.

During the work of a cleaner at a small speed in the constant mode supply voltage is brought to opposite brushes. During the work of a cleaner at the maximum speed "plus" of food is brought to the brush located sideways.

The faulty motor-reducer is recommended to be replaced new.

The electric pump of a washer of a windshield is installed on the tube connected to the union of a polyethylene tank. The tank is installed in a motor compartment at the left. Nozzles of a washer are located on a cowl, flexible connecting hoses are attached by brackets to amplifiers of a cowl.

The washer joins the right understeering switch. At the same time food moves on the electric motor of the pump and the relay of screenwash which includes a cleaner on the small speed of work if it was switched off or worked in the faltering mode.

At malfunction of the pump it is replaced. The got littered nozzles can be blown in the opposite direction or to clean a scaffold.

Scheme of inclusion of a cleaner and washer of a windshield: 1 - electric motor of screenwash; 2 - washer electric motor; 3 - assembly block; 4 - relay of faltering work of a cleaner; 5 - ignition switch; 6 - understeering switch.

Before removal of screenwash we disconnect a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery.

Having raised a plastic cap of a lead, a key "on 10" we turn off a nut of fastening of a lead of a screen wiper.

Shaking, we remove a lead from shliyets of a shaft.

Having hooked the screw-driver, we remove a plastic protective cap of the plug of the lever.

Key "on 24" we turn off a nut of fastening of the plug of the lever to a body.

We remove plastic and rubber washers.

Similarly we release the second plug of the lever.

We disconnect a block of a plait of wires of a motor-reducer of a screen wiper.

Head "on 12" we turn off two bolts of fastening of a screen wiper to a body.

Before removal of a screen wiper we uncover the assembly block (and we take out from the assembly block of an old sample of the relay of indexes of turns and the alarm system, and also the screen wiper relay).

We take out a cleaner from a motor compartment.

Key "on 13" we turn off a nut of fastening of a crank.

Having hooked the screw-driver, we shift the crank lever from shliyets of a shaft of the electric motor.

By the Shlitsevy screw-driver it is turned off two screws of fastening of tips of wires of a bimetallic safety lock.

We take away wires from a bimetallic safety lock

Cap key "on 10" we turn off three bolts of fastening of a motor-reducer to an arm...

... also we remove a motor-reducer.

We collect and establish a cleaner in the return sequence. That the crank reached the correct position, we connect the motor-reducer socket to conducting of the car, we include a cleaner the understeering switch and, having switched off, we wait until the electric motor stops. In this provision of a shaft of the electric motor we establish a crank and we tighten a nut of its fastening.

For removal of the electric motor of a washer...

... the crosswise screw-driver we unscrew the self-tapping screw of fastening of a tank to an arm and we raise a tank.

We disconnect wires of power supply from electric pump plugs.

We pick up the phone from the electric pump union.

We disconnect the electric pump from a tube of a tank and we remove the electric pump.

We establish details in the return sequence. That tubes of a washer were easier put on unions, we warm the ends of tubes a lighter a little.
