2.8. Removal of a chain of the drive of the camshaft

For convenience of work we remove a cowl (see. "Removal of a cowl") and a forward cross-piece of a stretcher (see. "Removal of a stretcher"). We merge cooling liquid (see. "Replacement of cooling liquid on the car with the engine UEPA-331"). We remove the pump of cooling liquid (see. "Removal of the pump of cooling liquid on the car with the engine UEPA-331"). We remove the generator (see. "Removal and dismantling of the generator 58.3701"). We turn off an oil filter (see. "Oil replacement"). We disconnect a wire from the oil pressure sensor (see. "Replacement of the sensor of pressure of oil"). We remove the ignition distributor (see. "Removal of the distributor of ignition") and its drive (see. "Removal of the drive of the distributor of ignition"). We uncover heads of the block of cylinders (see. "Replacement of laying of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders") we also establish cranked and distributive shaft in the provision of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder (see. "Check and adjustment of thermal gaps in the drive of valves" ).

For descriptive reasons a part of photos is executed on the removed engine.

To small beards we unbend edge of a lock washer of a ratchet of a bent shaft.

Having stopped a bent shaft from a provorachivaniye the screw-driver inserted between flywheel wreath teeths through a coupling case window...

... a head "on 36" we turn off a ratchet.

We remove a ratchet and a lock washer.

Screw-drivers we hook a pulley and we shift it from a sock of a bent shaft.

We remove a pulley.

Key "on 10" we turn off five bolts of fastening of the top cover of the drive of the camshaft to a head of the block of cylinders...

... and two bolts of fastening of the top cover to the lower cover of the drive of the camshaft.

We remove the top cover and two sealing laying.

The screw-driver we unbend edges of lock plates of four bolts of fastening of an asterisk of the camshaft.

Key "on 10" we turn off bolts.

We remove an asterisk with a chain from a camshaft sock.

We remove a chain from an asterisk.

Cap key "on 13" we turn off six nuts of fastening of the lower cover of the drive of the camshaft to the block of cylinders (two of them located at the left serve also for fastening of an arm of the generator).

We remove an arm of fastening of the generator from hairpins.

Cap key "on 13" we turn off two nuts of fastening of a cover of the channel of cooling liquid.

Cap key "on 13" we turn off the nut of fastening of the lower cover close to the oil pressure sensor.

We unscrew three screws of fastening of the pallet of a case to the lower cover of the drive of the camshaft (see. "Replacement of laying of the pallet of a case on the car").

We remove the lower cover of the drive of the camshaft.

The joint of the lower cover of the drive of the camshaft with the block of cylinders is condensed with laying on the right and at the left.

We remove an uspokoitel of a chain from hairpins of his fastening.

We take away an asterisk of the tension device from a chain...

... also we remove a chain.

For removal of an asterisk of the tension device...

... by nippers it is unclenched a lock ring...

... also we remove a ring and the lever with an asterisk from a lever axis.

Before assembly it is cleared the privaloch-ny planes of covers of the drive of the camshaft, a head and the block of cylinders of oil and the remains of old laying. We establish an uspokoitel of a chain and an asterisk of the tension device. Before installation of a chain we are convinced that the piston of the first cylinder is in VMT (at the same time the shponochny groove of an asterisk of a bent shaft has to be directed to the camshaft, see the scheme of the mechanism of the drive of the camshaft of the engine). Having wrung out an asterisk of the tension device, we put on a chain asterisks of cranked and distributive shaft. We establish a camshaft asterisk together with a chain on his sock so that the leading (left) branch of a chain did not sag. Risk on a flange of the camshaft has to settle down opposite to the middle of inflow on a forward support of the camshaft. We tighten bolts of fastening of an asterisk the ordered moment (see. "Appendix") we also fix them from a provorachivaniye, having bent on the verge of heads of bolts of edge of lock plates.

We draw in a chain an asterisk of the tension device and we establish the lower cover of the drive of the camshaft with new laying. We tighten nuts of fastening of a cover. We establish a plunger of a natyazhitel in a nest of the top cover of the drive of the camshaft so that he under the influence of a spring did not act from a nest in a cover, and we fix a plunger a lock bolt. We establish the top cover of the drive of the camshaft with new laying and we tighten bolts of its fastening the ordered moment (see. "Appendix") in the order shown in fig. 1.

We pull a chain (see. "Adjustment of a tension of a chain of the drive of the camshaft").

Before installation of the drive of the distributor we expose cranked and distributive shaft on adjusting tags (see. "Check and adjustment of thermal gaps in the drive of valves"). We install the distributor drive (see. "Removal of the drive of the distributor of ignition"). We establish other knots and units in the return sequence.
