3.9. Replacement of maslootrazhatelny caps of the mechanism of gas distribution

By candle key it is turned out from a head of the block of cylinders of a spark plug (see. "Replacement of spark plugs").

We uncover heads of the block of cylinders (see. "Replacement of laying of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders").

We turn a bent shaft of the engine before coincidence of a tag on its pulley with a long tag on a camshaft drive cover.

We remove the case of the camshaft and levers of the drive of valves (see. "Removal of the camshaft and levers of the drive of valves").

In this position of the cranked hall (pistons 1 - го and the 4th cylinders are in VMT) we change maslootrazha-telny caps of valves of the 1st and 4th cylinders. Then, having turned a bent shaft on 180 °, we change caps of valves of the 2nd and 3rd cylinders. The sequence of work for each valve is as follows:

through a candle opening we enter between the bottom of the piston and a plate of the valve (on which we change a cap) a bar from soft metal with a diameter about 8 mm.

We establish a rassukharivatel of valves for what we start its zatsepny the lever for a nut, navernuty on a hairpin of fastening of the case of bearings of the camshaft, and the thrust bearing is rested against a plate of the valve.

Pressing the lever of a rassukharivatel, we remove springs of the valve and tweezers we take crackers.

We remove a plate of springs...

... and lower basic washers of springs.

Special nippers removed from a valve core a masloot-razhatelny cap.

In the absence of nippers carefully not to damage a fragile guide of the valve, we hook a maslootrazhatelny cap one or two screw-drivers and we remove it from the directing valve plug. Before installation of a new cap...

... we put on the plastic plug a valve core not to damage a working edge of a cap.

The plug usually enters a set of caps.

We oil a working edge of a new cap engine and via the plug we put on it a valve core.

In the absence of the plug we put on a cap a valve core accurately, trying not to damage a working edge of a cap.

By tweezers it is removed the plastic plug from a valve core...

... and the hammer through a mandrel (for example, a high head "on 12") napressovyvay a cap on the directing valve plug.

We establish the removed details in the return sequence. We take a bar from a candle opening of a head of the block of cylinders.

After assembly of the mechanism of gas distribution we regulate a chain tension (see. "Adjustment of a tension of a chain of the drive of the camshaft"), we check and if necessary we regulate thermal gaps in the drive of valves (see. "Check and adjustment of thermal gaps in the drive of valves").
