4.2. Adjustment of a tension and replacement of a belt of the drive of the pump of cooling liquid on the car with the engine UEPA-331

We check a tension of a belt on its deflection between pulleys of the generator and pump of cooling liquid.

At a normal tension of a belt its deflection under effort 40H (4 kgfs) has to make...

... 7-9 mm between pulleys of the pump and generator.

For a belt tension...

... a key "on 12" we weaken a bolt of fastening of the generator to an adjusting level.

The bolt of fastening of the generator to an adjusting level fixes also a tip of the wire of "weight" connecting the power unit and the accumulator.

Two keys "on 17" raskontrivay nuts of two bolts of the lower fastening of the generator.

Holding bolts from a provorachivaniye a key "on 14", we weaken nuts of the lower fastening of the generator a key "on 17".

We take away the generator from the block of cylinders of the engine and, having reached a nominal tension of a belt, we tighten a bolt of fastening of the generator to an adjusting level, and then we tighten also zakontrivay nuts of the lower fastening of the generator.

For removal of a belt we weaken fastenings of the generator...

... we shift the generator towards the block of cylinders of the engine...

... also we take off a belt from pulleys.

We establish the new or taken-off belt in the return sequence and we regulate its tension.
