6.2. Adjustments of Ozone carburetors

Adjustment of level of fuel in the float-operated camera is obligatory after replacement of the needle valve or a float (see also "Diagnostics of malfunctions of the engine").

Having uncovered the carburetor, it is necessary to be convinced that the float freely turns on an axis, has no holes and dents, does not touch walls of the float-operated camera. It is necessary to check an inhaling of a saddle of the needle valve and free, without jammings, movement of a damping ball in drilling of a needle.

Holding a cover vertically (the fuel supply union up), it is necessary to be convinced that the gap between laying of a cover and a float makes 6,5±0,25 mm (at the same time the uvula of a float has to touch a ball, but not utaplivat it). We change a gap, turning in a uvula, at the same time its site contacting to a ball it has to be perpendicular valve axes.

If all these conditions are met, carefully we establish a cover into place.

Adjustment of a pneumatic actuator of a butterfly valve of the second camera (only for the carburetor 2107-1107010) is carried out when replacing the drive or a rod with a diaphragm.

Having removed a lock washer from a pin of the lever of the drive of a butterfly valve of the second camera, we disconnect a rod. Having turned a butterfly valve of the second camera in vertical position, we press against the stop a pneumatic actuator rod. Having weakened a lock-nut on a rod and holding a key the six-sided plug, we turn out or we wrap a rod before coincidence of an opening in a rod with a lever pin. Having put on a rod a pin, we fix it by a lock washer. We tighten a lock-nut on a rod axis.

Adjustment of the starting arrangement is carried out when replacing details of the starting arrangement.

Starting arrangement of the carburetor: 1 - we will cover the lever of the drive of air; 2 - air gate; 3 - draft; 4 - rod earring; 5 - adjusting screw; 6 - telescopic draft; 7 - draft of regulation of provision of a butterfly valve; 8 - butterfly valve.

The air gate has to be completely closed at the extended handle of the drive and is completely open at the drowned handle. If it not so, we oil a cable engine, we rearrange the end of a cable in the drive of the air gate, having unscrewed the fastening screw.

We extend the handle of control of the air gate against the stop. The air gate 2 (see fig.) at the same time has to be closed completely, and the end of draft 3 starting arrangements - to be in the end of a groove of a rod 4, but not to move a rod (if it not so, we correct the deformed details, we regulate length of draft 3, bending it).

At completely closed air gate 2 the butterfly valve 8 first cameras has to be slightly opened (a starting gap With in the place of transitional openings of system of idling). This gap is changed by a podgibaniye of draft of the 7th adjustment of provision of a butterfly valve.

The air gate 2 has to be slightly opened (a starting gap In) by a rod 4 starting arrangements at its movement manually in the case of the starting arrangement against the stop. For adjustment of a gap we unscrew the screw cap on the case of the starting arrangement under which there is an adjusting screw 5. Rotating it the thin shlitsevy screw-driver, we try to obtain the required gap. We establish into place and we tighten the screw cap.

Adjustment of system of idling is carried out at THAT or violations in operation of the engine (see. "Diagnostics of malfunctions of the engine").

We carry out adjustment on the heated-up engine at completely drowned handle of "suction". The tachometer and a gas analyzer determining the content of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in the fulfilled gases are necessary for adjustment of system of idling.

In the absence of a gas analyzer adjustment of system of idling with the acceptable accuracy can be executed as follows. On the working engine we establish by rotation of the screw of quality (in both parties) the maximum frequency of rotation of a bent shaft on the idling mode. Then, rotating the case of a pneumatic valve of EPHH (carburetor 2140-1107010-70) or the screw of quantity (carburetor 2107-1107010), we establish the frequency of rotation of bent shaft 850 mines-1 and we raise it approximately for 100 min.-1. After that, without changing position of the case of a pneumatic valve of EPHH (or the quantity screw), we wrap the quality screw, reducing the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft up to 850 min.-1. This way of adjustment of system of idling allows (on condition of serviceability of the engine and its systems) to receive the maintenance of CO and CH in the fulfilled gases within norm.
